Thermally Enhanced Grout

BH20 Grout

BH20 is GeoPro’s conventional, non-thermally enhanced grout designed for use in bore hole sealing BH20-bagapplications and geothermal applications where a thermal conductivity value of no more than 0.42 Btu/hr-ft-°F is required. Mixed as a 20% – 25% solids grout, BH20 sets into a semi-rigid plug well suited for sealing well casings, decommissioning abandoned wells and for GSHP systems where low thermal conductivity ranges in the bore annulus are acceptable. BH20 is not intended to hold silica sand in suspension to form a thermal grout.

Thermal Grout Lite is GeoPro’s original thermal grout base specifically designed to optimize the performance of ground heat exchangers for the geothermal heating and cooling industry.

A unique blend of bentonite, Thermal Grout Lite is designed for use with PowerTECx to achieve thermal conductivities from 0.79 up to 1.20 Btu/hr-ft-°F. TG Lite may also be mixed with high quality silica sand to achieve thermal conductivities from 0.45 to 1.00 Btu/hr-ft-°F.

PowerTECx-bagPowerTECx

PowerTECx is an engineered alternative to silica sand specifically formulated to be field mixed with Thermal Grout Lite or Thermal Grout Select to achieve thermal conductivities ranging from 0.79-1.60 Btu/hr·ft·°F. Use PowerTECx with, or as a replacement for traditional silica sand to lower mixed viscosity, reduce formation losses, decrease grout weight, and to minimize the amount of material required at the job site.
