Skid Mounted Vertical Inline / Vertical Split Fire Pump Cases

When space for a fire pump system is an issue the vertical inline and vertical split case pumps are the way to go.  Sizes range from 50-1500 GPM for vertical inlines and 250-2500 GPM for vertical split cases.  While other manufacturers use (1) piece of C-Channel for their main skid “base” and minimal supports (requiring additional supports and/or bracing in the field), a standard Geo-Systems USA base uses 4-5 times more steel on average.  Eliminating vital bracing and/or supports to save a few dollars in fabrication could potentially compromise the integrity of the fire pump system.
